Trade 92f for S&w j frame??

My buddy has a small 5 shot .357 he wants to trade for my 92f. The smith is stainless and i think its a "j" frame but i dont know the model number. Both guns are in excellent condition and the 92 would come with several magazines.
Pretty sure the smith is an older model (pre lock) and my Beretta is an Italian made version purchased around 1989. What are the comparative values (in California) of these two pistols?

Yeah with several magazines, the Beretta is worth a little more but if you'd rather have the J frame, the disparity isn't too big. If you are both happy with the deal, Cool Custard's idea would pretty much square you.

Keep your Italian Beretta 92fs.

I have a 92F and would never dream of trading it. The slide feels like it's on ball bearings. It's extremely reliable. And it looks cool.

if its your buddy. the difference isnt significance anyways. if you like it then its a good deal

Your 92f is a shooter. I would keep it. The Smith j-frame is not fun to shoot but great for carrying (ccw). A comparable trade would be for a S&W 686.

Keep the 92. Save for the S&W 686 if your looking for a revolver.
