Anyone else have this happen and know what glock charges for a new frame?

This thread is awesome. Guess I should've expected it with a title like that!

Anyways, gun has never been dropped as suggested. Talked to glock this morning and it's $100 for a new frame and the bad part is that it has to go back in jail for 10 when they return it...hopefully I can at least get them to give me a short frame.

Moral of the story, always use lube and don't butt plug your glock!

It's there to drain water and debris.

What you're saying is the hole is there for crap to pass through.

You should pay attention to the fit of the plug and as your pushing if it's obviously too tight you shouldn't force it as it can cause a crack. It sounds like yours caused a crack.

Use of the plug seems to be controversial and some say it's OK and some say it's not recommended. I'm picking up a new Gen 4 and I've decided to keep it unplugged because it affects use of the back strap. I haven't decided which strap to use yet but I think after I get more hands-on time with it I know better.

My plug is black but apparently they can be had in different colors.
I think you are getting off topic a little..a butt plug does not need a strap. Maybe you are confusing it with a strap on? Sorry I had to get in on this one
