    Kahr trigger work?

I own a Kahr CW-9 that I really like. The firearm is perfect for CC due to its slim size. My only mild complaint is the trigger pull which is very long with almost a full length reset. It does not stage like many others. Has anyone had any work done on the Kahr trigger to change it to something "more traditional." Where did you have the work done? Was it satisfactory? How much did you pay for the trigger job?

    Happy New Year to all!

The trigger is designed like that for a reason. Why would you want to change it?

As said above^^^. The trigger is designed to work that way---practice, practice, practice...

A trigger can't get much more traditional than the Kahr trigger...since it was designed to feel like a tuned revolver trigger.

The Kahr's natural competitor in the S&W 642. The CW9 is easier to carry, points better and carries more rounds...it has replaced my long time 624

You're not supposed to "stage" a DAO trigger.

Like a revolver, when shooting at speed, the trigger should be constantly in motion...if it stops you are behind the curve.

If shooting slowly, staging the trigger staging is an invitation to jerking the shot off target.

Where did you have the work done? Was it satisfactory? How much did you pay for the trigger job?
You can have the trigger stroke smoothed beyond the factory spec...but it isn't anything that several (thousand) repetitions wouldn't give you. I had my Kahr trigger done by a girl I knew who worked for a pistolsmith...I owed her dinner and some wine

I don't think its possible. If you want something different with a trigger reset trade it for something else.

That is the way the trigger is . Some like it "revolver shooters" and some hate it "semi auto" shooters.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.
