    RIA Tactical 45ACP

    Hi Guys,

Ammo bros is selling RIA Tactical 45ACP for $469, do you guys think its a good price? I am debating whether to get this or wait and get used Sig 1911 for around $650.

Did you guys see a lower price on RIA tactical than $469?

    thanks

I got on last year(ria-ms). Out the box it was a lil rough start. Grip safety had sharp edges that I personally smoothed out. First box of ammo=ftf. I polished ramp-problems solved. Shoots 100% jhp, fmj, reloads etc. Good luck op. I love 1911's

Got mine last June during a Turners sale for $499. Got about 300-ish rounds through it. No problems with mine.

Do they have the new rollmark?

Does anyone know if new rollmark RIA 1911s are available in local gun shops?

I have a guy who loves RIA 1911 pistols, he will not spend a ton of money on a higher end pistol. He buys 3 or 4 RIA 1911s and send them over to me for action jobs, reliability jobs and internal deburring, he is happy as a clam. To each their own. Whatever makes YOU happy.

I'd save and get the Sig. Mine hasn't had a single issue (except for a problem caused by out of spec ammo).

The whore is cheap! Lol just kidding. Worth every penny.

FWIW, I sent him the piece I took to war! Functioned flawlessly. He is a very competent gunsmith and his gun handling isn't bad either.

I also had him do some work on my RIA 1911. Awesome job. Highly recommended.

I see the GI model in shops near me for more than that, so yes go for it! The only reason I didn't pick one up when I sold my LCR was because I saw a Yugo AK for $579 and snagged that instead.
