Never thought I'd say this about my CZ

But my bone stock SP-01 has lost it's fun factor since acquiring my SP-01 a shadow Tyc. I took it out to the range yesterday along with my AR and my SP-01 Shadow Tyc and the OEM SP-01 was meh. Maybe it was a bad day for the stock SP-01 but it didn't have that gusto. Oh well, time to decide on what to do since I have my holy grail of CZ's.

***12/29/31 Update***I took my bone stock SP-01 to the range yesterday along with a Kadet Kit and boy was it fun! I hadn't shot my Kadet kit since summer and it was a joy to shoot. I put around 250 rounds of 9mm/150 .22lr through both and made me smile.

I thought about that but I realized the SP-01 Shadow has almost the same upgrades out of the box that I would get through CGW.

While I only have one SP-01, I liked it a lot before I got it upgraded. Afterwards it became a different gun and made me wonder how anybody can live with the stock setup

It would, I'd say give her to a good home if you don't plan on shooting it much. Let someone else enjoy her.

hhahaha, i'll say that while my sp-01 is a great shooter, i too am waiting to get her modded at CGW...

I keep my bone stock SP01 as a bedside gun. Since I shoot mainly CZ pistols, it is helpful to have a HD handgun I am very familiar with.

I mainly shoot and take classes with my CZC Shadow. But if I were called to defend myself in the home, the bone stock, CA-roster approved gun will give the prosecuting attorney a lot less to accuse me of having a "killing machine".

CZ's have amazing potential when fixed up. Thats why I love them. I can take a $500-$600 pistol, hit the shop and come out with a pistol that will shoot with the highest priced pistols in the world. I'll put my CZ97B against any semi-auto in the world. It can't be beat for speed and accuracy. CZ makes a very solid platform.
