Used FN 5.7 value

Hey guys-

A friend who passed away owned a FN and the family has decided to sell it.Very few rds, unsure of mag count.What do they seem to be selling for used.Thanks in advance.

They retail for about 1400 and used should be the same because it is very hard to find one in stock anywhere. For a quick sale list for $1000 should be sold within the day.

FYI, one just got sold in market place for $1,400 and someone claimed it within a few hours. Based on that, I suggest $1,500 or more.

I would list it at $1700-$1800 to give yourself some haggle room. The used market is like the car or housing market. Nobody wants to pay list price. Marking it a little on the high side gives you room to bring the price down to what you really want to get out of it while simultaneously letting the buyer feel like they got a great deal by talking you down a couple hundred bucks. Remember the value of an item, whatever it is, is only what someone is willing to write a check for.

The value all depends on what model 5-7 they have.

A usg model will fetch around 1200, IOM (round trigger guard) around 1800 and tactical around 2200.

There's never anything I want being sold close enough to me to buy. Everything I find in the marketplace that I want is always way too far to travel.
