    CZ75 magazines... where?

    Hello all,
I recently purchased a new 9mm CZ75B, and I gotta say, the pistol more than lives up to all the hype. It's truly an awesome pistol, and I absolutely love the thing. Now, I've been looking around for 10-round 9mm magazines for it, and I can't seem to find any, anywhere. Midwayusa, Brownells, CZ's online store, Ghost Products in Arizona- NONE have any 10 round mags in stock. Gunpartscorp apparently has ProMag 10-rounders, but I have heard that they really aren't that great. I understand that MecGar makes OEM CZ mags, but they don't show 10 rounders on their site. Is there anywhere else I can find the 10-round mags for my pistol? Will magazines from any of the other CZ pistols (such as the P01/SP01) fit?
    Thanks in advance,
    Nic

I honestly think the promag 10 rounders are better than the CZ 10 rounders.

That said, I use mecgar 16 round mags downloaded to 10 for USPSA production division. They are the best, (and under $20 dealers' price at Brownell's).

I bought some Promag 10-rounders from CDNN a few years ago, had to tweak the lips a bit to make them work reliably. In the past some people have complained about weak springs in the Promag's, but mine have been just fine.

I think elsolo means using 16 rounders and only putting 10 in there.

I seem to have acquired quite the stack of 10 rd cz 75 mags. I got a couple in a package deal on a holster purchase from a guy in Colorado, and recently 4 more from a pistol trade. I honestly think you should hit up national pistol forums where you can get 10 round mags for practically nothing from people in free states.

I got the magazine for my 75B from Crossroads gun show. There is a vendor in Costa Mesa show that has them in gray shelf. Those turned out to be Promags, and the usual suggestion is that you don't use Promags. However, at least for me, 75B Promags have been great.

One thing I like is compatibility of 75B mag. I can use it in my P-01 although it sticks out a little. Factory magazines are good too, but Promag, at least for me and 75B, works fine.

You might try asking over at www.czforum.com. They tend to be up on the latest, and there may be Free Americans with spare 10 round mags to spare from back in the ban days.
