    HK Mark 23

Does HK still make the Mark 23? I thought I had heard they stopped.

It's limited production item that is made in small batches.

It's also not a high volume item, so in between production of the small batches, some "expert" will announce that H&K discontinued it, until the next batch gets produced.

Another reason, why people think it's been discontinued is because US SOCOM no longer uses it.
    In 2011, the Mk 23 Mod 0 (H&K Mark 23) was replaced by the Mk 24 Mod 0 (H&K HK-45CT).

They sure make a great brick! Damn that thing is heavy as all hell.

        I'll stick to my G-Lock.

Yeah, got to shoot a MK23 many moons ago---a HUGE HEAVY pistol---I'll take my USPf 45 or my 45C any day---still an interesting item when you think about what they were trying to do back then...
