    Mk25 vs 92fs !!!.........

i have been shooting the 92fs for about 8 years now and i get a nice one hole grouping and i mean 1 hole the size of a dime 10 shots..... i just picked up a mk25 not too long ago and i was kinda shocked at the results. at the same distance i shot the mk25 the grouping was the size of a silver dollar to a fist. the mk25 feels good in the hand, trigger is nice, bright night sights, but i perform alot better with the 92fs. does anyone who shoots both guns has similar experience? please dont flame me for this but for half the price id get another 92fs i feel that it has a crisp trigger break.....i like my sig mk25, looks awsome, nice finish, awesome night sights, nice rail, nice trigger but i dont know if it was worth my $835

92fs has softer recoil and lower barrel axis. You got used to one gun. Give it a time, keep practicing and you'll improve. If it doesn't help.... well, this gun is not for you. It happens.
    I shoot 1911 45acp the best, even though I practice more with p226 in 9mm and .40

I shoot the same dime size group with both. You need to practice and get the feel for the pistol. Familiarization with it will improve your groups.

I'm the exact opposite. I'll shoot some sized groups with my mk25 and half dollar groups with my 92fs

I suppose it's just what platform each person is familiar with.

agree with you rider, the 92fs has noticeable softer recoil and when racking the slide i noticed 92fs to be much smoother........

92 slide racks like it's on ball bearings, has a nice chrome lined 5" barrel.... but a slide mounted safety... why!!!! lol..

lol missiontrails, i like the slide mounted safety..... i can switch the safety on/off easily with my thumb and not have to re grip..... i know many people complain about the slide racking turns the safety on "accidentally" but to avoid that, i modified the racking of my slide in the middle or front off the gun...

I personally don't have issue with/without safety at all. It's very easy to develop the muscle memory on particular guns.
Try using laser sights on p226. My shooting improved a lot since I put it on the gun. You can clearly see what mistakes you make while pulling the trigger.

Speaking of the safety, I like the way it works on px4 storm.

Really?? I'd be shocked if was any other way.

You've been shooting the 92 for 8 years dude, why would you expect to shoot as well right away with a new platform?

Skip the 92FS and go 92A1. It is a much more direct comparison to the Mk25.

Not really necessary to limit yourself to the mk25, but I'd take any p226 over 92fs

M9A1 has a 92 upper, a bit of grip work but if you held both I doubt you could tell them apart.
                            But you knew that.
