    HK USP 45 Tactical

Does anyone know where or how i can get the USP 45 tactical in San Diego.

Because i can't have one, I want one. I know a new one would need an SSE, but i don't know the process for getting one from out of state and obtaining the SSE.

    Thanks for the help.

Easy, just buy a standard USP 45 barrel, and swap after SSE. Then, sell the threaded barrel to recover funds. Actually, tactical barrel uses the o-ring I think.....

correct, tactical barrel uses the O-ring...however, a regular USP barrel should work fine.

however, you'll also need to get the non-tactical recoil spring.

I'd keep the threaded barrel, in case you wanna sell it in the future, you'll have matching serial #'s

Or another route is go the HK45T or HK45CT. I have the CT model

Agree - definitely keep the threaded barrel; there is no "constructive possession" issue, and you would be dumb to split up the gun from its original barrel whether you ever sell it or not.

Keep it for when California bans all firearms, possession, and you must move to Arizona, to avoid being put into the eventual "California Safety-Initiative Gun-owner Rehabilitation Camps." You'll still have the threaded barrel AND be able to enjoy it.

Or you can build one using an USP. It just won't have the "TACTICAL" engraved on the slide.

And apparently everyone forgot that the Tactical has a match trigger which is slightly better than the **** trigger on the standard USP. Also, I'd be willing to part with mine for somewhere in the neighborhood of $15,000 :P

There was one for sale in the marketplace awhile back. You'd just need a non threaded barrel. I got one from Jarivs for mine, same length and with the o-ring.

That's why I said you can build one from an USP.

Match Trigger: $130 <- better off with the Match LEM hybrid trigger ~$200
Super tall target night sights: $145
                Jarvis Barrel: $225

So essentially just buy the regular USP 45 and do the upgrades?

The only difference is you will not have "TACTICAL" engraved on the side. It's a modular platform. The USP/Match/Tactical/Expert/Elite are all built on the same frame, just different slides and ancillary stuff.

If you decide to build your own make sure the Jarvis threaded barrel comes with an o-ring slot. Get the match trigger from HK parts and then off to Bruce Gray for trigger work.

buy USP tactical. have seller ship barrel to you. have gun shipped to SSE dealer. purchase regular barrel or purchase extra threaded barrel and remove the threads. complete sse. own gun. shoot gun with regular barrel or removed threads in Kal and shoot it with threaded in other free states. just never assemble the thread barrel in Kal.
