    Recommendations/Suggestion CZ Kadet vs re-loading

I have a 1911 and marvel II unit. The Marvel unit does not function perfectly all the time. I kinda think of this a training. The 1911 also has helped out with the "training".

My question; For me, which is the smarter way to procide; buy a CZ Kadet for the CZ 75 or get my act together and reload for both the 45 acp and 9 mm?

The thing is, I bought a lot of cci minnie mags for the Marvel. The Kadet could have problems. The CZ Kadet would be very good for practice and would be more to my wife's liking.

I'm going to have to reload for the 1911 anyway.

    Many Thanks

I know I need to get out shooting!

Reload and also get a dedicated .22. Everyone needs at least one .22. I have never shot one of the conversion kits, so I have no opinion on those, but I do believe that a reliable .22 is a must have. I need to start reloading, but just have not had the time.

The Kader is outstanding! It will be the best 22 pistol you ever shot.

I wouldn't road 9mm, just buy the cheap ammo and enjoy it.

45 acp is worth reloading IMO.

I would say get into reloading. I think it's the better long term solution. The prices for 9mm has gone up quite a bit since the panic and it's not coming down to the $180/1,000 level. If you are planning to reload the 45 then it's even more reason to get into it.

Kadet is the best 22 you could buy IMO. I don't like using a 22 as a cheap form of practice. The recoil is so different its not even the same gun. For self defense, practice putting 3-5 rounds into a chest as fast as you can. Recoil pulse will change how you recover from each shot. 22's are great for practicing bullseye shooting but that is it.

Reload everything you can. High cost of factory ammo or not, its about being self sufficient during hard times. If you buy supplies smart you can reload 9mm for $125/case and 45 for $140/case.
