Bodyguard 380. The last round in magazine will feed Half way into chamber and the slide will not fully close on its own. A good smack on the back of the slide will close and will fire. Problem consistently happens on last round. Mag issue? Ammo? Or maybe some breaking in? New gun

Sounds like a weak spring in the mag.I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.
As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap. -
I only have one magazine.Point your muzzle in a safe directionComment

Weak mag spring, seen it in several of my own pistols. Stretching it may give you temporary relief. Wolff does not have mag springs yet. Looking like you have to go S&W.sigpic

I think it might be that thing in the bullet holder thing. It's steel and looks like an accordion, it pushes the bullets up...:

You may also want to check that the mag body is clean inside and that the follower is not binding. Don't know about the BG380, but in some mags having the spring in upside down causes problems.Comment

S&W should take care of you with replacement parts, give them a call.Comment
