uzi pro pistol

Thanks. I will have to look into that and keep my fingers crossed, that is, if I can even find one somewhere to purchase, before time runs out. Does anyone else know which parts would need to be changed and if the necessary parts are interchangable? From what I understand, it would just involve a zero round sled, a mag lock and a barrel extension. And the barrel would probably be interchangable with a regular size Uzi pistol. Is this correct?Comment

Why a mag lock? Its my understanding since the magazine is in the grip you don't need a lock unless it has a threaded barrel. Sled and extend the barrel for SSE.
Hard thing is to find the gun. I don't think they are available yet. Been looking for a while.Comment

Since u are questioning it, I now assume that I am probably wrong about the mag lock requirement, but my reasoning is this:
I have only researched SSE for pisols with the mag outside the pistol grip and ASSUMED that the mag lock served two purposes in those cases. One, to fix the single shot sled (thus making it a single shot and eligible for the transfer). And after the transfer is completed, to continue to fix the mag (10 round max) "permanently" so it is not considered "detachable" and, therefore, not an AW, and legal to possess.
Admittedly, I have not read the sticky, b/c I thought that I understood the process based on my experience, but now realize that maybe I only understood it well enough to suit my needs for the handguns I was interested in at the time.
I had figured that a non rostered pistol with a detachable single shot mag or sled, even if contained within the grip, would not qualify for SSE if the sled released with a quick thumb press, just like u would normally drop a mag, and that it must be "fixed" in that configuration until the transfer is complete. After which, u could remove the lock and use any mag that was lawfully possessed before the ban, just as long as the lower rail on the Uzi Pro isn't considered a forward grip and, as long as a VFG isn't added to it.
Please correct me if I am incorrect, as I do not have the patience to read thru the sticky at this particular moment.Comment

I think the consensus is that the standard full size UZI pistol has a plastic foregrip that would be considered a "second hand grip" which would then require a maglock.
From pictures, the micro / uzi pro don't seem to have that foregrip. Thus as long as it is free of other features, it should be good to go without a maglock.Comment
