    Glock Factory Warranty Refurbishment Program

I'm sure this is a dupe but I remember someone posted the Glock Factory Refurbishment program somewhere here on Calguns. Just thought I would dig it up so others who may be interested in getting their Glock(s) factory restored.

Thanks for the info OP! I wonder if there would be any issues if you have to ship out anything Gen 4? I mean you could take your item to a local GSSF event, but I haven't seen one by me. Then again, I haven't had a reason since i don't anything Gen 4 YET.....Ill look around for common knowledge for local GSSF events.

              Calgunners,

this info was posted a few years ago so its a good idea to call the Glock service department to verify pricing and turn around times. Maybe it hasn't been updated? Anybody that uses the program, please let us know how it all worked out for you.

I did my own refurb of my Gen 2 20+ old G17.

Had the slide polished and cut, added KKM barrel and replaced work extractor, firing pin and all slide internals. Also added extended mag and slide release. Left trigger alone as it could not be improved upon. Replacing all internal slide components is cheap and easy to do.

What would Glock charge to repair a damaged frame? A friend has one with sheared rear rails that he said he would sell me for $100 if I pay the PPT and help him build an AR. I did boot think it was fixable.

Something like that may be covered under warranty, but I'd call to be sure. It'll really depend on how they were damaged.
