    HK Mark 23

So I just won an auction on gunbroker. I got a HK Mark 23 NIB for $1610. With shipping and FFL fee it will cost me $1665 OTD. You think that is a pretty good deal? Over all I am super excited, I have always wanted one. (I am an Illinois resident now too). I should get it in about a week. Just an FYI there are 3 HK Mark 23 on GB that are desert tan. That seems like an unusually high number.

That's a fair price if the gun is in good shape. We pay substantially more than that wholesale for a new gun.

Well, it's what you wanted and you bid what you felt was fair and won so you paid exactly th right amount for it.

            Congrats!

Good grab, I had to pay significantly more for both of mine though I was always after the very early ones before they changed the finish. When they announced the "discontinuation" (even though it had was rumored every year I couldn't believe it when HK made it official) a few years back I thought prices would skyrocket.

I need to stay off gun boards; they remind me sometimes that I was perhaps foolish to give up the good stuff to move back here.

It is nice to not have to worry about threaded barrels and the roster anymore. I have to deal with the FOID though.

It sounds like it is HK week. I have been looking for a USP 45 Tactical for a while and came across a used one in really good shape. $800.

No sadly I can not own a suppressor. Maybe next move I can. I still need to shoot this thing. I did not really know how big it was, the thing is a monster.
