    Springfield Armory MC Operator Sources

I am looking for a Springfield Armory MC Operator (the one where the slide "ball cut" lines up nicely with the frame).

However, I don't want to pay $1200 for a gun with 1000 rounds through it.

And I certainly don't want to pay MSRP + taxes.

Does anyone know of any dealer or private seller who sells it for a good price?

Tried gunbroker but many of them won't ship.

You want a very specific gun but don't want to pay market retail price, so you want a very lightly used gun but don't want to pay market price.

    I'll keep an eye out.

And when you do change your mind, I'll let mine go for $5,000.

If they won't ship to CA, have them ship it to Ryan at TRA in Oregon. He would gladly forward it to an FFL in CA.

          Good luck.

12-1400 used is what they usually go for depending on condition. The reason you ask, because its very unlikely you will see one in a shop for sale.

Find a shop that does reasonably priced transfers. Wait for grabagun to get one in stock for $1100.

Won't beat that price even with a transfer fee.

Man, tough crowd. My fault for trying to save some money.

Thanks to everyone else for the recommendations!

$1100 new sounds a lot more reasonable than gun shops charging $1300+ MSRP or calgunners charging $1200 for one with 1000 rounds through it.

I am not in a hurry so I'll follow some of your suggestions and wait for a new one from grabagun for $1100. If anyone's interested, Bullseye Sport in Riverside will do out of state transfers (including DROS) for $75. I believe the tax rate is lower than LA County as well.

I've also been referred to a few other sources with below MSRP pricing. PM me if you're interested in a new one below MSRP pricing.

To return the favor to those of you that helped me:

Nothing wrong with saving a few bucks! Riflegear has the black version in stock, it is a lot higher than what you want to pay, but in the event that you want it right now, have it. Good luck in your search

Another potential deal killer is the SKU number. The pistol is actually on the roster (PX9105ML) BUT the pistol package is not (PX9105MLP). Go figure. The P package contains the holster and mag pouches, otherwise they are the same.
