Springfield XD Grip Upgrade

If you own a Springfield XD, you know that the bare factory grip isn't very "grippy".
The factory texturing on the sides of the grip is too fine to be really effective.
Tried some Pachmayr slip ons but was disappointed when they warmed up and moved around.
Anyway, stumbled on these roaming around the web, ordered them and I think they're fantastic.

It's wonderful that stippling works for you, however, I had no "burning" desire to sit down for hours with a soldering iron, inhaling polymer vapor, to apply an irreversible process to my pistol lowers.
I'm not very skilled at it and uninterested in paying someone else to do it.

I ran the "Decal Grip" brand rubberized grips on my XD 45 before I sold it, they look a bit more heavily textured then what you used.

Very nice! I like those too! But I love my Sandstorm Sling!

Love 'em on my XDm and bought them for my XDs (when it comes back from recall)
