    Question for Ruger SR22 owners

I do basic cleaning for my SR22, but it's coming up on 1500 rounds or so, and the trigger has got that gritty feel. Did a basic field strip, and replaced the takedown lever w/ one from Twin Tactical. At this point I'm going to do a full detail clean.

Question- have any of you here polished the trigger bar? it rubs up really close to the (corrected) metal housing. Wondering if that will benefit me any.

    TIA guys.

....and no it's not for sale.

Sorry I meant, metal trigger bar against the metal housing.

my sr22 has 10k+ rounds through it and the only place with real wear was my mag release. sent it to ruger and had it back in 4 days.
