    CA DOJ Handgun Roster

As of today there are 1236 Handguns available on the DOJ Handgun Roster.

So far, during the month of November, 2013 30 handguns have been dropped from the roster. http://oag.ca.gov/sites/oag.ca.gov/f...ms/removed.pdf

So far, during the month of November, 2013 0 (zero) new handguns have been added to the roster.

    THE SECOND AMENDMENT
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Anyone feeling a bit "infringed" out there in the great state of California?

Much of that is because manufacturers need to resubmit paperwork. Many will make it back on

manufacturers can renew, but in practical terms no guns can be added now

You guys ever wonder if we could just get all the manufacturers to stop renewing any of their rostered handguns? In a few years, the roster would be empty... Couldn't we then get it thrown out as clearly it would be violating our 2A?

I thought it was because they have to resubmit MONEY w every year to keep it on the list. How does a gun become "unsafe" because the state did not get their money?

Yes, manufacturers have to submit paperwork AND money for each model they want on the list. Different colors of the same gun have different model numbers. Makers won't go through the trouble for models that don't sell widely in the state so we'll keep getting a smaller list

The color makes it deadlier. Why do you think anything "tactical" is black?

it's all about control... Limit options = limit new gunowners.

and FDE is even deadlier because it's camouflaged so cops can't see it.

There is currently a lawsuit that challenges the legality of the roster.

                          That would be playing chicken.

Say every one lets their guns fall off the roster ... except for Hipoint. Woohoo for them! OR S&W at the last moment decides ... nah, we'll renew!

So I doubt it. CA is still the largest state with the most consumers. (I think).

Interesting though, I wonder if anti-monopoly rules will apply here. I mean the state is effectively banning products, creating monopolies, etc.
