Trying to sell a hand gun......

Trying to sell a hand gun and people are like sold I WILL TAKE IT.
Then then ten minutes later they are like oh..... I thought you were including 20 rebuilds kits with it and the pistol is plated with 24k gold. So never mind I read it wrong i am backing out.

So, post in the top of your thread that you are not doing the "I'll take it" BS and the first person to firm up a solid deal is the one that gets the gun. I don't even bother with "I'll take it" anymore. Most people on this forum are tire-kickers that will lowball the crap out of you when you get around to meeting up anyway, then blast you on iTrader for not taking their ball-busting offer.

The "I'll take it" crowd are the ones that piss and moan like babies when you don't sell it to them because somehow posting first gives them sole right to purchase your property, rather than you, the owner of said property, being allowed to decide who you want to sell it to.

To clarify, I'm not saying auction the highest bidder, but sell to the first solid agreed upon deal, rather then the first jerkoff that posts I'll take it, then pulls BS, like lowballing, not responding to PMs, etc.

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.

I generally give the first "I'll take it" poster 24 hours to figure out logistics with me. If I don't hear from them or they try to negotiate new terms, it's on to the next.

Per forum rules, "I'll take it" guarantees you the item under the conditions described in the ad. It doesn't mean "first chance to negotiate".

Every "I'll take it" I've gotten turned in to a flawless transaction.

If the item is price accordingly, I am sure someone else will pick it up!

I've never had problem with "I'll take it" either. If the first guy flakes, I'll just go down the list...

They probably found it was cheaper to just buy it new.

I admit I've "I'll take it!" a few times, but the deal falls through when I think about it and change my mind. But generally only emails/pms (and some time) are wasted, and I apologize profusely because I know it's not cool, but then, we're talking hundreds of dollars here.
