OK guys and gals. My wife finally said I can have a new toy. I was really sold on the LC9 but when I was in the LGS today they had the SR9C in stock also. I'm only allowed to spend about $500 and both fit in my price range. I plan on putting in for my ccw soon and this purchase is primarily for that. I really like the size/weight of the LC9 but the SR9C fits really nice in my hand and has a much better trigger. I already have many pistols but no compacts other than my LCR that I like but don't love due to the bulge from the cylinder when carried in a pocket or iwb. Any input from owners of these two guns would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the sr9c, trigger is great on mine as well. I am glad I bought it. -
I bought a Ruger SR9C quite a while ago. I put a Ghost Rocket trigger bar in it and it is one of my favorite shooting 9's. It will shoot right there with my Kimber 1911 9mm, amazing really.
I hate the LC9 trigger but if I was going to carry one or the other, I think the LC9 would get the nod. Then again, I would probably skip the LC9 and get a subcompact Kahr. When asked what qualities he most valued in his generals, Napoleon said, "give me lucky ones."Comment

I have an SR9C and have shot the LC9 and the compact Kahr. I also have LTC and carry the 9c. The 9c is a bit more gun than I want to carry at 8 o'clock (left handed) and makes getting in/out of the car a bit uncomfortable. Its fine to carry otherwise. Appendix carry is out of the question when driving.
If the question is only SR9c/LC9, I'd get the LC9 for exclusive CCW without question. If its your only weapon and you want to go the the range a lot, the 9c wins out in my opinion.
If you are open to the compact Kahr, I'd take that over the LC9 with no doubts at all.
I think the Kahr costs about 1 box of ammo more than the LC9 but you will more than offset that in the fewer rounds necessary to get used to the trigger. (Well, maybe a big box of ammo)
I'm probably buying a Kahr in the next year or so.Comment

SR9c all the way. The LC9 trigger is a loooong pull. It would take me loads of practice to get good with the LC9 trigger. SR9c trigger is good to go, and a real nice firearm...
