    Is it collectible???

I got this box of ammo a while back was going to shoot it but was told it was collectible. Is this true? Its Nyclad NYLON JACKETED BULLETS and has a big S&W logo on the front of box. There 38 special +p 125gr semi-wadcutter Made in U.S.A. Don't know how to add picture.

S&W Nyclad was made quite some time ago---late 80s-early 90s? While it is out of production, many folks would shoot it---I personally would collect it and shoot some more current ammo...

Early 1980s. Not collectible it is just old but the S&W package is unusual

the box probably more so than the ammo, but who knows people pay good money for weird stuff all the time.

Anything is collectible, if you can find the right buyer.

              ^^ this.
give it a try selling it, it wouldn't hurt trying to other than time what you got to loose

It is currently made by Federal, or at least was until recently.

                  probably not collectable ...right now.
in the future, yes it could be.
there are many ammo collectors out there, and they like boxes that say "colt, smith" etc.

keep the box full, an empty/partial box is worth a lot less than a full box

Shoot it. It's only as collectible as a paperweight. It's a tweener...old enough to make you think but not old enough to be worth anything.
