    Fuzzy Farrant Grips

    Hi All,

I just pulled my 25+ year old Python out for a look and forgot I had a pair of Fuzzy Farrant Grips I put on way back when.

Are Fuzzy grips valuable today...I am seeing prices in the $500 range for these grips and have no idea the history or why they are or are not so valuable.

Any info would be great !

    Fuzzy

Not sure of the history but I had a pair on a 1955 Colt Border Patrol. I bought them at a gun store I worked at in Ventura, Yeagers Supply back in the 80's.
    Outstanding feel and exotic woods!

Lots of info on Fuzzy Farrant and his grips on S-W Forums.

Hope you still have all your frame.

Fuzzys came in two versions. The more ergonomic ones required milling of the front toe on the grip frame to offer a smaller radius for the picky. The grips on the OP's Python are the ones that leave the grip frame intact
