    Beretta 92fs inox extractor

Wow, I tried hard trying to clean my extractor by taking it out (the pin that holds the extractor) but failed so i didn't even bother (it started to irritate me so I stoped). These guys makes it look easy but its not I guess I'll just try to clean it from the outside as much as I can. If it gets too bad, where it doesn't extract I will ship it to Baretta I guess. So far had only around 500 round through it. Works flawlessly...... for now.

Tension pin was noted on this video for the extractor and removal of it was not recommended.

I have close to 500 through my M9. Haven't felt the need to remove the extractor. It seems pretty well staked on top so I'll leave it be until something goes wrong.

I see, just wanted inputs.... Heard that some people blast it from the outside with some kind of special liquid to help clear the internal of the extractor. Heard that taking the pin off all the time during cleaning is not a good idea.

You shouldn't have to take the extractor off after just 500 rounds, unless you are shooting real dirty ammo.

I was curious on how to clean the extractor and wanted to deep clean my Beretta. After finding out that the pin wasn't going to budge, I just put the gun together and called it a day. Didn't want to create any un-necessary damage to the gun.
