Glock 35 or 34 Competition Upgrades?

Anyone out there have a competition Glock 35 or 34? Interested in what upgrades you have done on yours.

I just got a Glock 21 that is now going to be my bedside handgun and turning my Glock 35 into a competition model.

So far all I have on my 35 is....

    A LoneWolf 40 to 9 conversation barrel.
    x6 Arredondo Mag Extensions
(x3 for my 17 round Glock 17 mags and x3 for my 15 round Glock 22 mags)

    Extended Mag Release
    Extended Slide Lock Lever

LoneWold Stainless Steel Guide Rod but looking for a recommendation on which tungsten guide rod I should upgrade too?

Was looking at a ISMI tungsten guide rod with a variety of different weight springs, being that I will be shooting multiple calibers of ammo and would be great to change the spring weight.

Stock Sights but I'm interested in a recommendation on competition sights?

    Recommendation on Dawson/Heinie VS Warren/Sevigny

What type of Trigger job should I do?

    What type of Magwell?
-Was looking at the Dawson ICE, the new 6.7oz unit. VS T.H.E's VS JP?

Thank you so very much for your advice and recommendations!!!!

What competitions are you planning on shooting? Have you done any competitive shooting before? If the answer is no you probably want to start out in the Production (IPSC) or SSP (IDPA) divisions before moving up, both of which have stiff limitations on mods to the gun.

I just started and competing in limited. I'm only doing TTI trigger job, TTI sights, TTI base pad and Dawson magwell on my 34.

Okay then, put the 40 barrel back in so you can shoot major. If you want to change the sights, pick the ones you like. Might want to keep a spare mag kit or two in your bag in case one of yours goes bad. I have an ICE on my 35. I picked it because it isn't bonded to the gun, so just remove it and I have a back up production gun.

Welll if USPSA, I'm not sure if you can run a G35 with 9mm conversion barrel "legally". I mean, you can of course, and nobody would stop you in a local match, but if you bring it to a serious match I don't think it's allowed, you'd have to shoot it as a .40.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

You can, in Limited or Limited10. If you want to do production, it has to be the 40, no mag well, no mag extensions and 10 rounds max in the mag at the buzzer.

                ^^ I meant specifically production, but ... I wasn't aware you could in L or L10.

I think for production it means "PRODUCTION" ie; the gun is produced as you shoot it. Since the G35 was never produced with a conversion barrel, you can't do that. You can switch to a match barrel or a regularly rifled barrel I believe, as long as it's the same caliber.

Main thing on Glocks for a quick setup is sights and trigger and whatever magwell you think will work best.

                  Sights, I like Warren Tactical
Trigger, I like Glocktriggers.com (not too radical change in pull and super smooth)
Magwell, I don't use one. I'm no pro so I just like to get proficient without the well. I do use the plastic plug to fill the hole in the grip.
