    30-day rule clarification

Let's say, I buy a new handgun from CA FFL two weeks ago, then purchase new from out of state FFL today, does 30 day rule still apply or will I have to let it sit on hold at my receiving CA FFL until the clock runs out?

    This.

30 days must pass between the 2 handgun DROS submissions unless you have a CoE and an 03 FFL.

Thanks. I'd always wondered if it was ever considered a PPT but I suppose it's coming from FFL to FFL so no bueno.

      Oh freakin' well...

I would count off 31 days from your DROS date just to CYA.

It's a xmas gift for the wife so plenty of time to wait anyway. Thanks for the response.

Now to transfer it over to her.
Just kidding, I don't THINK there is a rule about that, but this is the left coast so not sure...

That's the easier part of this little gift transaction.

$19 and a simple form that I'm going to include in the box.
