ProForce: How long is too long?

So I've already made a rant thread about how unhappy I am with ProForce so that's not what this is about. But yea they suck.

My question is when is it not even worth it anymore? I went and got my GSSF 5 year membership maybe about 7 months ago. Got my GSSF purchase card and went to get a Glock 23 from ProForce. Quoted me 3 weeks to 3 months tops. So I say ok cool let me pay in full so I can get that done with and not spend it else where. Paid in full bam done.

For those of you that don't know GSSF it allows you to purchase Glocks at blue label price. $525 OTD I believe. Well it's been about... 5 maybe 6 months and I've called once a month and their answer is the same every time. Nope Glocks behind. Well what they don't know is I've talked to Glock personally and just told me they are and have been on schedule for a while now and don't handle stores direct. They go to distributors who then sell orders to stores. But again they are not back ordered anymore.

So what I'm thinking is they are just too lazy to get their customers what they need. I've worked as a receiver and in warehouses a few times for a few years and know if you need something there is a way to get it back ordered or not.

So when do you guys think is enough? I'm thinking maybe just blow the extra $250 and get a Gen4 and have it today and be done and take my business else sure even tho again I'll be out another $250 OTD.

Added note i am not in need for this this is just a fun mod gun for me. I already have a SA 1911, Glock 17, Beretta 92 and GP100. So the wait is not killing me it's more of lack of effort from pro force on the issue.

So what say you? Suck it up and save the money. Or not worth the money saved and go else where.

$525 out the door is the gssf price? Gen 4 dealer price is around $440. And my buddy is a low volume dealer. This was 8 months ago but still. I always thought the gssf/blue label was a bigger deal.

ProForce has a choice to give full blue label or reduced marked down Blue Label pricing. GSSF has "recommended" MSRP at $430+ fees of course pro force chooses to give a slightly elevated price from bottom line full LEO blue label. But to me it's still about $200 saving OTD at my local shops which are usually around $600 OTD after tax and fees. Pro force is the only blue label dealer aside from SD and up north that I know of in CA.

And this is for a Gen3. GSSF doesn't work on GEN4s due to our wonderful SSE requirements from beautiful California law makers.

I refuse to do business with dealer's that want to "mystery order" firearms "direct" with unknown ship dates. If they won't pick up the phone and call a distributor and find one in my presence they don't get my money.

Fortunately I've dealt with my local shops for so many years that if I call them regarding a firearm I'm interested in they will find one, order it and call me back before I even pay for it; they know my word is good.

I'd go in and give them the option of refunding your money, or picking up the phone and finding one in your presence and getting it on the way a.s.a.p.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"

"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"

Glock has not been putting out a lot of blue label guns this year. It is getting better. Unfortunately the distributors that we have to buy blue label guns from out here are also dealers so most of their stock goes to their own sales.

Ammo Bros in Ontario is a Blue Label dealer. I got my GSSF Glocks from them, as I read too much crap about ProForce.

I was in the same situation, I was going to buy a 26 from them for 398 plus tax and fees but they were never in stock. I was going to have my son who is security go get it for me.

After many attemts I learned of OC firarms right next to my work and paid 646.00 OTD for a GEN 4.

SO I figured 2 trips fo my son to brea and then having to do the father son transfer to me was too much hastle. Plus I hear they have long waits in the store and never have stock.

Just pay the extra money and get it ar OC firearms, plus you get the gen 4

Not to thread-jack, but does anyone know of any other Blue Label dealers in the greater Los Angeles area that accepts GSSF certicates, other than ProForce and Ammo Bros Ontario?

Yea Ontario is about twice the distance 55 miles to be exact from my location. Pro force is only 23.3.. Cerritos is a lot closer also interested if they accept GSSF.

I checked with Cerritos. They said that they're trying to become a Blue Label dealer, but Glock said there's already one "in the area" so they can't become one right now. ProForce is the dealer in the area.

Yea I just talked to some kid there too and he said no and they aren't planning on it lol

But he didn't even know what GSSF was soooo... I wonder if we spam GSSF with how unhappy we are with aproForce if they will lose that contract and allow Ammo Brothers to take over and actually serve us better. Cause like you after my review I havnt seen many that are ecstatic of ProForce either. Content at most.

Weird - If anyone could get guns, it will be ProForce. Their parent company is Davidson's, the same people that own Gallery of Guns. If you go on Gallery of Guns they have 99+ Glock 23s available but only Gen 3s with Hi-Cap mags and Gen 4s not on the CA roster. They show zero Gen 3 with 10 round mags. That might be the problem.

I've always had great service at Proforce.

Get your refund and spend another $250 on a CZ-SP01. You shouldn't have to wait for a Glock.
