Love my sig, but then again, I reload it.

If I had to buy 357sig, no way. Last time I saw a box of 50 it was nearly $35. I think wallyworld has it for $30.

    Too expensive in my book.

357 SIG is no more expensive than 40 S&W if you shop around online. I have three pistols chambered in this caliber and buy my ammo almost exclusively from ammoman. Even though the prices have gone up about 40% over the past couple of years, it can still be had for 29 cents per round when bought in bulk ($289/1000 shipped to your door).

i like this round best over the pistol calibers i've shot being: 9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP, and 357MAG. i shoot it the most accurately and recoil isn't as bad as many would make you believe.

              I just got one.

              I just purchased a Glock 32C,

Shoot 50 rounds of remington FMJ $26 a box of 50, but I purchased it at the range, I have seen it for about $21 dollars at Walmart in Milpitas (North Cal).

Definitely accurate and more fun to shoot than my .45, 9mm, and 357 mag.

the recoil is similar to my magnum 2.5in revolver, but with the compensated barrel it brings tears of joy

I only shoot the revolver in single action mode due to the long and heavy trigger pull, but with the Glock in a 357sig you can keep on target and keep the rounds comming.

Im just as accurate with the 357sig as I am with my 2k 1911.

+1. However, it is loud and has a fairly pronounced flash signature.

The ammo's expensive. I just don't understand the need for the caliber. Why not just get a 9mm? Cheaper ammo for practice and high performance 9mm ammo for self-defense is highly effective. If that isn't enough, get a .45.

                      357 is fast

The 357sig is definitely no 9mm; although logistically they are. The 357sig standard is a 125g 1350fps which is faster than the Wallmart 125g 357magnum which goes 1250fps. I have shoot both the same day and they feel similar in recoil and flip.

Granted you could get a 357mag 158g FMJ with 1250fps, but then 357sig also has
                      140g that goes 1350fps.

Ammoman.com if you buy the 1000 pack it is $29 box of 100. Which is cheaper than 357magnum ammo.
