What magazines? Where?

Hi folks,

As you may remember, I was asking about opinions on the Sig SP2022. All being good, my buddy is selling me his lightly used one, about half price!!

Unfortunately, he's coming from the "real world" and only has the stock 15-round magazines. Please tell me that they make 10-rounders for this gun!!! Is there any other magazine that will fit this? I've heard that the Sig Pro in 9mm will work, but are there any other series mags that will also fit? I know they're made by MecGar so quality isn't an issue, but fit is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The parts on the Sig Pro line are generally interchangable.

The 9mm mags from the from the SP2009 will work in the 9mm SP2022.
The 40/357 mags from the from the SP2340 will work in the 40/357 SP2022.

Midway USA sells mags for the SP2009 & SP2340 in 10 rounders.

Looks like $19.95 for used mags and $29 for the new mags.
