Is this normal for a new Glock 19?

After debating between new or used for my first pistol, I decided to go with a new gen4 G19 and got it home today. I noticed some rust colored streaks in the barrel while field stripping it for the first time. I doubt it is rust. I have not fired the gun yet. Could it be some minor copper fouling from the test shots? Thanks for any help in the matter.

Now put the magnifying glass down and go shoot your new gun.

Copper. Quit being anal retentive/OCD and just shoot with it.

Copper.... My barrel looks the same. Shot it on Sat w/out cleaning.

A don't think Glock barrels are capable of rusting. They're made of some magical fairy dust material

I would use a dental pick and a hammer to scrape that crap out. Don't shoot the gun until it's completely clean. Glocks tend to blow up if you don't keep them clean.

Also, make sure there are no handprints or smudges on the slide. That will cause it to crack when you shoot it.

Lastly, don't hold the grip for too long. It might melt, get soft, and deform from the heat of your hands.

It can't be rust because Glocks have no metal parts, and can go right through an airport metal detector. They're ceramic.
