Just bought my first .22.

I got it via SSE. Runs great, I took it out yesterday and the day before. Tons of fun to shoot, it's very accurate and I didn't have a single malfunction.

I got it through calguns via a poster named "new jersey" and one of his local ffl's, If your interested you should send him a pm, the guy is very professional and his ffl is low cost.

Yeah I emailed a bunch of shops and only found one that sse'd the sr22, problem was it was way up north in the bay area. I then emailed Ruger to ask if they were ever going to bring it back to California and the answer didn't seem like they would.

Good for you. Is CCI the only ammo you shot? I have a Remington 22 semi rifle that loves CCI. Hollow points jam the darn thing.

It's the only ammo i've been able to find in 22. I shot a box of stinger cci hollow points through it and it functioned flawlessly.

I wish I had bought one of these before they went off the list. Now if only Ruger would make an SR10/22 that could use those SR22 mags.
