Aim tech no drill for model 66 question

So (just for fun and plinking) I've been wanting to mount my trs 25 red dot to a S&W model 66-1 (2 1/2"). It is not the pre drilled version and I dont want to have to drill so it seems my only option is the aim tech mount. Does anyone have any experience I've heard mixed reviews? Also will it even fit on a snubbie? And lastly anyone know where I can buy one online that is not on back order?

Haha its just for the fun factor. I dont know why shooting has to be such a serious "tactical" endeavor all the time. Seems like fun doesnt matter to shooters much as of late....
