Don't know why u guys are saying they don't feel a difference, stock from a comp barrel. Less muzzle rise and when rapid fire a huge difference.
To everyone else who's saying there's no difference. U guys are either stupid and don't shoot enough to tell a difference or just read too much on the internetThe internet has given voice for the incredibly stupid peopleComment

Thanks for the informative comments. As for fmunk, do you really think I wanted an answer like that? Do u think I wanted you to explain to me that when gasses blow out of the ports, it compensates for muzzle rise? If so, was it necessary to explain it the way you did?Originally posted by starsnufferTaking legal advice from a gun store owner or employee is like taking dietary advice at the McDonald's drive through. Just don't.

there are times when it's a good idea to explain something through science, and there are times when it's best just to explain what it does.
When you try to explain a compensated barrel through newton's laws it makes your sounds like a tool, troll, or a smart ***
you use the energy equation to show that a .45acp and a 9mm doesn't have that much of a energy gap, smart.sigpic

Doesn't projectile velocity/energy suffer from a ported barrel?Comment
