    P239 question

    The frame says made in Germany. Is it standard for a 239 to have the frame made in Germany but the slide US made?

      Yes. Same goes for P229s and P226s.

          Yep, it's common across the P series line to have German made frames and slides manufactured in Exeter (and the pistol assembled in Exeter.)

          A SIG with a 100% pure German pedigree will have proof marks.
