S&W REVOLVER DROP-OFF

Looks like a bunch of S&W revolvers just dropped off the roster. I wonder if these models just were not selling in Ca. so S&W decided not to pay the extortion fee to re-roster them, or if S&W is just giving up on CA?

How much does it cost a manufacturer to re-roster?
How much does it cost them in the initial testing beyond supplying 3 guns?

I saw one of the dropped items was one of their 1911 models. I would hope it's a matter of them dropping items that weren't selling. If it's a matter of them giving up on California, well that would be disturbing.
