Glock Mag question

Friend of mine had his house broken into and they stole a few items including his Glock 26. The police found the gun and after 18 months returned it to him minus any mags.
When looking online I see mags for Glock 26 but they say Gen 4, will those work in an earlier gen? don't know too much about Glocks so I thought I would check with you guys...
The part number I found is MF26010

They'll work fine. The only difference is the gen 4 has an extra cut on the left side so it will work in the gen 4 pistol with the mag release set up for lefties. Also all gen mags will work in a gen 4 gun as long as the mag release hasn't been switched for a lefty.
