Question about ammo in kimbers

what is your favorite defensive type ammo (45acp) you run through your Kimber(s) please be specific. i would like to hear your input, thanks guys

Speer Gold Dots, 230gr HPs. I get good accuracy so that's what I carry.

I've used Gold Dots 230 gr.JHPs, Hornady's XTP 230 gr. JHPs, Winchester's (White box) 230 gr. JHPs that I buy from Walmart---when available. They are all reliable in my 2 Kimber Custom IIs.

My Kimber TLE II will eat anything. I usually keep a couple hundred rounds of Winchester ranger sxt 230 grain on hand for defense though. Its a good load and its fairly inexpensive compared to other comparable rounds on the market.

I have always used Remington golden saber, 230g in my 5 and 4" barrels and 185g in my Ultra.

My ultra carry likes rem 185 gr +p's golden sabres....Will shoot 230's very well ,,, but handles better with 185's... 9mm a whole different story though... Cheers...
