    S&W model 59 9mm mag issue

I have a S&W model 59 9mm. I cant find any 10rnd ca legal mags anywhere. When I bought the gun, a law enforcement trade in, the shop owner failed to notice it had a 15rnd mag. so after 10 days I go to pick it up and he checks the mag with snap caps and finds it to be "hi-cap" so I have a gun without a magazine... Is there another more available magazine that fits this pistol? or would any of you happen to have extra magazines? thank you so much for your time.

    Midway USA

I originally ordered from Smith & Wesson, but after six weeks this appeared on Midway at a cheaper price. I think that delivery was about 5 days.

Very sorry but now shows out of stock no backorders. I didn't think that there was that much demand.

Bullseye Sport in Riverside, Ca advertises they have them. I've used thier mags with much luck.

        Ebay as well, but expensive.

I just happen to have one BNIB MecGar blue 10 rd magazine for that pistol. Bought it thinking it would fit a FEG P90R. Nope. It's been sitting in the package since.

            $100!

            No, seriously, I'll PM ya.

Try Top Gun Supply or Midway USA but since they're out, you can click the notify me button. You'll receive a notification when they get their shipment. Oooops! better yet from Fishslayer. ;-)

Top Gun supply is my go to for 1911 mags from Checkmate. IIRC they were the cheapest source for genuine SIG mags for my wife's Mosquito.

If there's a gun show coming to town, a few venders usually have them. Last show they ranged from $10 - $30. BTW, a 915 was the poor man's version of the 5600 series. The 910 was the same pistol with a 10 rd mag.

Numrich has MecGar 10 rounders in stock for about $27.00.

Midway gets them in on a regular basis.
                          I recently bought a few.

My model 559, I've owned since new and with all the talk about bans I went out and bought 10 round mags at Midway.
