1911 Mag Well Help

I've used #1 add on for years and years - one gun used in IPSC shooting - one gun used in IDPA and a backup gun I'm just starting on - we are talking probably +/- 20,000 rounds between them all (my IDPA gun has 9500 itself)

All Colts - the black matches colt exact - the stainless is different, but not all that noticeable because it is surrounded by grips, not plain metal - still looks good.

On wood grips, I had to do some shaving on the back of the grips (I used dremel to do the cut exactly same shape) - on one colt with standard rubber wrap-around grips, just pushes the rubber down - fit great

I did the first... Sanded the underside of the grips. Turned out perfect!

Spend some dough and get the NHC Magwell and a set of slim grips...

I've used the Wilson Combat two piece listed above, how does this NHC one compare?

The reason I used the Wilson is it is easy to remove the mag well if you want (and keep the same MSH in) as well being slim. In fact the Wilson mag well is even slimmer in profile than slim grips.
