AR Pistol Noob Question

Calguners! I need a little enlightenment.

Is Magazine grip illegal to be installed on an AR-Pistol? I had some friends come over last night and they told me that the pistol grip and cheek saddle are not allowed to be place in a AR-Pistol. Altho I know you guys are not lawyers I still trust your opinion better than my friends when it comes to legality of things.

That's a great question. For AR pistols, I know there are weird laws and regulations as to what you can and cannot do. I have not looked into it too much but someone should be here shortly to help answer your question. In either case, that is a sweet little set-up you have there. I am not the biggest fan of rifle platforms in pistol configuration, but that thing looks menacing but not too overly done. Best of luck with your question Sir.

I see nothing wrong with it. I believe the laws specifically state "vertical fore grip" which that is not.

Plenty of people run magpul AFG's on their pistols. And it's what I plan on using for my pistol.
