I am getting an inch to get a hi power in 9mm.. Shot one the other day and I pretty much fell in love with it. Question is, which is the best model to get ? A newer one ? older ? T- series ?

Can someone school me on these ?

Nice choice, OP. They are terrific pistols. There are a number of Hi-Power clones out there, but most BHP fans seem to swear by a vintage pistol made by FN in Belgium and imported by Browning.

If you ever get one, I highly suggest having the magazine disconnect removed. The difference in the trigger pull is night and day. Good luck in your search; they are rather difficult to find.

I'm partial to the blued model with adjustable sights. I can tell you the bluing on the new models is really nice...
I haven't removed the mag disconnect yet, but it's on the list. The trigger on mine needs some improvement.

Nothing wrong with the FEG clones. I have a Charles Daly HiPower (same as the FEG clone, but with Big Dot sites, matte finish and extended safety). I use it as a beater shooter so I won't have to shoot my other real FN HiPowers very often.

I'm currently using it as a beater (I shouldn't post that in case I want to sell it later) but it does have a really nice blued finish with plain 3 dot sights.... for the price though.

I bught mine a year ago, with a cool set of walnut grips it is a beautiful piece of art. Shoots great but the trigger as many said before needs some job done.

That is around the going rate from what I have seen. The last new one I saw in a shop they were asking $999.
