Iver Johnson 1911

Does anyone here own and shoot an Iver Johnson 1911? I like the .45 ACP model with adjustable sights, but since this Iver Johnson is a relatively new company, I have no idea if their guns have enough field history to be deemed reliable. The prices are good, though.

Edit: I should have put this in the first draft of the post, but if someone who owns and shoots one, please let me know how the gun has performed. Posting some internet link to websites doesn't help.

Here's a little background info on the Iver Johnson 1911. It is also a "Made in the Philippines" product......don't know if there is any connection with RIA/Armscor.

I haven't followed Iver Johnson for a while but I can say I own an IJ 32ga single shot w/ejector shotgun and without pulling it out of the case I recollect it was built in the late twenties/early thirties inherited from my great uncle's chicken ranch outside of Stockton, CA. many years ago. Yes I have managed to acquire a case of .32ga shells. They also built and sold bicycles during that time period. This must now be a resurrected trademark.
