Kimber rear sight issue

I had an issue and figured I'd see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

When I painted my wife's Kimber Custom II pink, I removed the sights. Since they were already off, I decided to upgrade them to the 3 dot variety that I bought direct from Kimber. Less than 200 rounds later and one of the dots blew out of the body. I reached out via email to Kimber asking what the deal was, but they never replied. I've since superglued the dot back in place, but have yet to shoot it to see if it stays. Anyone have this happen to them?

Give em a call. Hopefully they'll get you a new one. Thier customer service is pretty good at least with the experience that I had with them.

The front night sight on my Kimber Raptor died out and I called Kimber Customer Service. Warranty on sights is 12 years IIRC. I shipped them my slide and they replaced the front night sight. No out of pocket for me.
