Glocks in OD green

Is Glock just having/had special run recently in OD green or these will be part of their regular production run?

Last OD run was about three years ago, some gen. 4's are available in FDE.

with the exception of the gen 4 in FDE, I believe, that both the OD green & FDE were considered to be green... there was no real consistent shade of either one.

I just bought a gen3 OD G17 for my wife, and it definitely appears to be closer to FDE.

Glock just released a special run of OD's ~ 6 months ago, both Gen3's and Gen4's.

The FDE's were a much smaller run, and they were special order from their distributor Lipsey's.

Not sure, but I wasn't gonna miss out on a non-rape price OD G19 this time around now that I was able to find one at my LGS for $499. I was kicking myself for not getting one before they went out of production a few years ago and there was no way in hell I was gonna pay the ridiculous prices that people were paying at their peak resale value.

My advice is that if you want one, get it now that you can find it at regular price at your LGS.
