New Kimber Eclipse Pro Target II

I just picked up my custom Kimber today at reeds. I purchased it Late last November 2007, but due to and issue with it FTF and FTE: Kimber ended giving me a new gun. Reeds received it and I had to Re-Dros it again, yes another $30dollars.

Kimber's customer service is awesome. I had the following done at a discount.

    1. The top was flatened and serrated.
    2. Under the trigger guard serrated.
3.. Install and fit A Magwell.
    4. Trigger Job with pull set at 3.5lbs.
    5. 4 kim-pro tac mags
    6. Cocobolo Magwell Grips.

I figured since Kimber is paying for the shipping both ways I might as well get some work done. $450 dollars extra was my part for everything. It might not have been the deal of a lifetime, but the fell is amazing. I will shoot it tonight at Target Masters.

Very nice gun. I like what you had them do to her. Makes her look more sexy.

Very tastefully done. $450 is not bad.

I was expecting a lot more than 450. She looks great, hope she'll shoot well also.

              I guess I got a good deal.

Kimber took 3months 3 weeks with Her. Initially they said they were going to have her back in 3 weeks, but after a while they just kept saying well here are 4 free magazines for your patience, then 2months later they said okay would you like free grips to fit the magwell?

After all was said and done the cost for everything was less than we talked about as an additional reward for being patient and not rude. I guess it pays to be nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kimber's may have lemons here and there, but when they do; they make up for it and then some.

I was hoping more than I would like it. I never seen an eclipse with those bright red grips before, so I took a gamble with that.

              Thanks for the feedback.

                          Finally shoot it.

I went to Target Masters in Milpitas. At the 21 feet perhaps 3 extra feet in addition too I averaged 1 hole out of 5 rounds. I try to shoot only 5 rounds at a time to mock or mimick the magazine articles. Definitely tighter groups then im used to. Prior to that I would manage 2 to 3 in groups at 7 yards. It may be more practice or a the custom work on the Kimber, but now I manage one hole at 3 extra feet or so.

What ever it may be, the wait was definitely worth it.
