    Holstering the P6

    Hello all,

I know here in Cali there's not much chance to holster and carry the P6, but for those of you who have bought holsters for your P6 (not the issued one that came with the gun), what did you get?

I bought the Uncle Mike's paddle holster to use at IDPA matches. It works well for that purpose and cheap too!

Many folks have participated in 'open carry social events' so don't be surprised if you see this more often.

    Good Luck!

      Hello,

I just picked up my P6 from Turners last week. I bought a "Safariland ALS 6377 Plain Belt Holster Sig P225 RH" from eBay this morning. I'm going to try using it for a tactical handgun class. Good luck with your P6!

            Out of curiosity...
Has anyone tried a Blackhawk Serpa holster?
I would think one made for the P229 may fit the P225/P6.

I know the Galco Concealable for a 228/229 fits the 225 pretty well. It's a little looser than designed, but fits rather snugly. I also know that CompTac makes atleast the C-TAC for the 225 (it's not on their website, but if you call you can order one) and I would therefore assume others were available as well.

Anyone know if there's a dropped offset holster made for the P6, perhaps a Blade-Tech? I DROSed mine at City Arms yesterday, and want something that works with my, er, female figure for IDPA and other pistol matches.

                      one IWB and one OWB

The De-Santis OWB (sold by Midway) that holds either the 225 or 228 works well.h

For Inside the waistband (at home or out of state carry), I have a Kramer Holster. Nice and stiff. Holds the P225 securely.

Does anyone have the Blackhawk leather holster series? Those have a version specific to the P225 pistols...

If I was to carry my P6 (legally of course) I'd use this

With one of these for my extra mags.
