    Stoked- Just Ordered a S&W 686-4 Plus

I have been waiting for one of these and have always been a day late and dollar short. My wife took my Ruger Security 6 and made it hers, so I needed another revolver.

    Sounds like a legit excuse

    Ordered a 686-4? Aren't new ones -7 or -8?

In any case, congrats! A 686 is one fine revolver!

That there's the finest revolver in production by my opinion. I've had one for years but recently started pining after a gp100. Finally got one and After a few months with the GP100 I'm kinda over it, doesn't really hold a candle to the smith

              I love my 3 inch.....686 plus

it seems like the 4 inch is much bigger than the 3.

Most awesome! Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, what to these go for ballpark?

Like you, I have always wanted one of these too. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I would say mid-$700's to low $800's for a new one that I've seen
