Went to the range today!

I'm getting a lot better with this thing. I'm loving it even more
I fired 100rds on 3 seperate targets.
I cant express how satisified I am with this pistol. I couldnt believe how good I was shooting today at 20+ yards. Using cheap Winchester white box ammo too

The XD rocks!

I'll be at Iron Sights Monday nite, I get my XD40 at 5:46pm. I know Iron Sights is open til 10pm. I'll be at Magnoila on Friday nite (half off on range fees), it's in El Cajon/Lakside area off the 67.

Ironsights says they close at 10pm, but if it is really slow, they will close at 9pm. Drove 30mins to get there one night and thats what happened. Got there just before 9pm and there was no one there, they were cleaning up and told me and my friend they are closing early. And than 5 other shooters came in...two of them lived an hour away. They still did not let us shoot and that was 7 shooters. If you plan to do some shooting there late at night during the week, Id suggest calling in first.

I used to go to American Shooting Center.. but now I go over to Discount Gun Mart. It's cheaper, closer, and a lot less busy. ASC has long waits on busy days.

thanks for the warning. I should be at the range by 6:30-7 so I hope they don't close THAT early. If thats the case, I'd race down to Magnolia.


Do you know if you can shoot Wolf Ammo at Iron Sights or American Shooter?

No Wolf at American Shooting Center

I believe Project2000 in El Cajon allows Wolf ammo.

I'm very impressed with the XD9, it's a no-nonsense straight shooter that works every time. Accurate and dependable, I'm looking foward to shooting my XD45ACP when my 30 day wait period is up on May 28th. XD really does rock!
