    Question About P6

I was wondering if Sig imports P6s and runs them through the certification process, or if it's strictly third parties that do the importing.

My 21st is coming up soon, and I'm thinking about a Sig. If I can get one that's been factory-checked, then yay, but if Sig doesn't actually import them, that's cool too.

I've always thought that if it's CPO'd (Certified Pre-Owned)... then Sig has checked it over.

Look for CPO's and you'll at least have a 1 year warranty to work out possible kinks.

New Sigs have limited lifetime warranty.

If cost is an issue, get a XD-9. I've shot the XD-45 (and purchasing one now).. they are nice little handguns also.

The P6 imports are not coming from SIG Sauer Inc. of NH.

The P6 is not Certified Pre Owned. They are brought in from the importers and sold to dealers.

Ok. I kinda figured that (haven't seen any CPO in the searches I've been doing.) Thanks for the confirmation, guys!

You can get a P225 CPO on occasion, same as P6.

              Isn't there about a $200-$300 difference though?
