    ar pistol and bipod

i was wondering if i can affix a bipod to my ar pistol to get a good zero on my red dot? i know that putting a forward grip on a pistol makes it an illegal sbr . but does doing the same with a bipod make it illegal? I searched , but couldent find any clear answers. can anyone clear this up for me ? thanks...

Not sure about the bi-pod but have you thought about using a sandbag or a front rest of some sort to sight your pistol.

      Under Federal & CA laws...

It is legal to attach a bipod to a handgun.

It is illegal to attach a vertical grip/bipod device to a handgun.
